Exciting news! One of Brisbane’s favourite markets, Love Me Again, has landed on the Gold Coast. We caught up with co-founders Lana Sciasci and Isobel Dear ahead of their Palm Beach event this Sunday, September 21.
Tell us about Love Me Again’s new location on the Gold Coast – why was this the perfect place to expand to? And how did it come about?
Our community comes from far and wide and have been asking us to come to the Gold Coast for so long… It’s really been overdue! We found the beautiful Space10 community venue and thought it was the perfect spot to launch.
What are some of the biggest style differences between Brisbane and the Gold Coast?
Our Gold Coast sellers and customers have so much style! It’s effortless and chic and their wardrobes are full of beautiful natural fibres to match the amazing GC weather we see year-round. It’s definitely super beachy and fun.
How are you tailoring Love Me Again to suit the Gold Coast market?
Our mission is always to provide an elevated market experience. Although this is a pop-up market where our sellers BYO their clothing racks, we have looked at every element – from our pre-market information and printable posters to our on-day check-in process – to ensure the selling experience is as elevated as possible for our sellers.
For our customers, we have mirror moments and pop-up change rooms throughout the venue to ensure finding that perfect pre-loved piece is as easy as possible!
What can Gold Coasters expect from Love Me Again Market, if they’ve never been to a Brisbane event?
Gold Coasters can expect an amazing morning out with likeminded women, and beautiful fashion at a fraction of the retail price. This is the place to find new brands you haven’t yet discovered, pieces you have been eyeing off but couldn’t justify buying at retail, and great everyday basics to add to your wardrobe. Our sellers take 100% of what they earn on market days, so your purchases go directly to supporting other women in the community. This is what we love most about our markets!
Are there any local Gold Coast brands you think we’ll be excited to find on the racks?
Absolutely! Local labels like Kivari, Sabbi, Zimmerman and LSKD are frequently found at our markets for incredible prices. We are always blown away by the variety of Australian homegrown brands we see across our seller racks!
What are your top three tips for shopping at Love Me Again Market?
- BYO a tote bag always: You will be blown away by the pieces you find and want to take home!
- Look through every rack: There are hidden gems everywhere.
