We headed north, to paradise point for the hottest spots to eat, unwind and play.
PARKLANDS
Situated along The Esplanade at Paradise Point, Paradise Point Parklands are the perfect location for a stroll, picnic, fun in the playground or to simply relax overlooking the water. The amazing views make this one of the most beautiful parks on the Gold Coast. The winding walkway through the Parklands provides a great way to start exploring the many features on offer.
COFFEE & A BITE
You are never far from a cafe at Paradise Point. Some of our faves include new kid on the block Social Brew, Bridges for night time tapas and drinks, or walk around the corner to find healthy food abound at Bare Cafe and Buoy oh Buoy! Don’t forget to have a little look around the surrounding streets of Falkinder and Grice Avenues. Here you’ll find all the delicious food you need for a sweet picnic in the park. From French patisseries to quality butchers, fruit shop, Flannery’s Organic, florists and more.
Monsoon has carved a niche for delicious brekkies (helloooo corn fritters and breakfast bruschetta!) and mouth-watering tapas later in the day (and check out their tapas nights with live entertainment). Hot coffee, a full belly and a stroll by the water? Perfect start to the day.
UNWIND
Zen Soul Life yoga studio holds several yoga and Pilates classes in the park at Paradise Point, on the Esplanade just south of Ephraim Island bridge. Enjoy the heaven of savasana in nature!
GET ACTIVE
Join in the free weekly, electronically timed 5km run/walk sessions for all ages and fitness levels from beginners to experienced runners. Walk, jog or run and enjoy the stimulating and friendly program. The weekly Parkrun meeting spot is Paradise Point Parklands, The Esplanade, Paradise Point at 7 am. The best bit? It’s free to join in!
PLAY
I want a bit of ‘Paradise’ all to yourself, head a little further north on the popular Esplanade to find your own little slice of heaven. Both the eastern and western sides of the northern end of the Point have gorgeous little beaches, often without another soul in sight.
