Carrara Markets Car Boot Sale, Carrara
Open every Sunday morning at the iconic Carrara Markets, this car boot sale is the place to be if you love a second-hand bargain. With pre-loved fashion, books, toys, homewares, tools and so much more on offer, you can spend hours strolling between the sellers. Want to clear some clutter yourself? You don’t need to book to be a car boot seller – just show up, pay the $30 fee and start selling.
Love Me Again Markets, Palm Beach and Miami
Brisbane’s favourite designer rack sale has made its way to us, taking over both Space 10 on Tenth Ave in Palmy, and the iconic Miami Marketta. It’s the perfect opportunity to browse the wardrobes of the Gold Coast’s most stylish locals – and head come with treasures in hand.
Sun House Studio, Burleigh Heads
From half of the duo that brought us The Village Markets (RIP) comes Sun House Studio – a studio and co-working space in Burleigh that also hosts a must-shop rack sale. Don’t miss their selection of pre-loved and designer wares, brought together in their sun-filled space on select weekends.
Cherry Pickers, Miami
On the third Wednesday of every month, you can get a side of vintage and pre-loved fashion with your food truck delicacies. Miami Marketta’s Cherry Pickers event gives people a place to sell a range of bargains as well as high quality vintage or handmade garments. A midweek shop, delicious street food stalls, the Marketta bar and free live music – what’s not to love?
Her Wardrobe, Tugun and Coolangatta
With two locations on the southern end of the city, Her Wardrobe is one of the best – and busiest – rack sales on the Gold Coast. It’s super easy to not only buy but also sell with Her Wardrobe. They offer over 10,000 new and pre-loved items at each event, and host multiple events each month.
Yatala Drive-In Boot Bargains, Yatala
The brand-new Yatala Drive-In Boot Bargains has everything from vintage items, clothing and accessorites to kids’ toys. Load up your car boot (or the whole car) and get involved for just $5. Entry for shoppers is just $2 per person. It’s set to take place from 6am until 11am on the third Sunday of every month, starting Sunday April 16.
Desert Digs Markets, Burleigh Heads
Mo’s Desert Clubhouse is a true hidden gem. Situated in the industrial streets out the back of Burleigh, it’s a live music venue that also hosts regular rack sale, Desert Digs. Taking place every sixth Sunday from 12pm until 3pm, you’ll find 20+ vintage & pre-loved stalls, live DJ, a licensed bar and a Californian style food truck. It’s such a vibe.
Dusty Rummage, Currumbin
Born at Dust Temple, Dusty Rummage has since found new homes at Balter Taproom, Murwillumbah’s M|Arts Precinct and Slash Byron Bay – meaning there are plenty of places to shop their unique selection of vintage and handmade wares.
