It has the best beaches and Pacific SLSC is a great family club. It has a community village atmosphere, eclectic mix of well-to-do and Aussie battlers and is surrounded by nature at it’s finest.
Fave place to stop, relax for 20 mins and enjoy a morning cuppa? And what treat is on the plate beside your hot bevvie?
Tullebudgera Creek mouth, Burleigh side, is heaven on earth. Coffee comes from Moto Grotto or Boardculture at Mermaid Beach. What’s on the side? Smashed avo with cracked pepper and lime. I already have a house so I’m allowed to – ha!
Fave Gold Coast casual dining location? What’s on the menu?
BIN 12 at Burleigh or Balboa at Palm Beach – hands down the best food and drinks on the coast. You just sit at the bar and let the world pass you by.
You’re planning a fun, local night out with your mates?
Bine to start with – $5 fancy beers and 50c chicken wings. Then a beer or six at APRES surf with Dicko and whisky sours at Cambus & Wallace.
Fave Gold Coast shopping destination?
I hate shopping – ha! But I’ll tell everyone to come and shop at Boardculture Community Surf store, 2442 Gold Coast Highway, Mermaid Beach.
