It’s laid back coastal vibe and the community spirit.

Fave Gold Coast casual dining location? What’s on the menu?
That’s a hard one! I have so many faves. My regular haunts are Bam Bam Bakehouse in Mermaid Beach for a cheeky sweet treat and their nasi goreng and Back Bone in Tugun for craft beer, bao and dumplings.
You’re planning a fun, local night out with your mates?
Justin Lane for their epic pizza and Aperol spritz and because we love hitting the rooftop bar on a balmy night. Miami Marketta for the diversity of street food options, the live tunes and it’s a unique experience. Hellenika for beautiful Greek food and incredible wine. I love the concept of authentic home-style food, designed to be shared. I can’t wait to see the new extension, the casual dining area and rooftop bar sounds incredible.

The Village Markets. There’s something for every member of the fam bam. Freeman’s Organic Farm. Grab your fresh produce and a homemade treat and coffee and set up your picnic rug to take in the killer views of Currumbin Valley. And Metricon Stadium on Gold Coast SUNS game days for a great spot for the family to hang!
Fave Gold Coast shopping destination?
The Village Markets for unique pieces from emerging designers. The Freedom State in the Old Burleigh Theatre Arcade for my boho fix. Borrowed Nursery for plants and pots.
