We know florals for spring aren’t exactly groundbreaking, but we’re so excited to see the tail end of winter, we don’t particularly care. We’re ready to do aaaaall the spring things – especially seeing flowers. Here are three of our favourite places to see flowers in and around the Gold Coast.
Elderflower Farm, Kent’s Lagoon
Nestled in the Gold Coast hinterland – Kent’s Lagoon, to be precise – is Elderflower Farm, a place as beautiful as its name suggests. As a working flower farm, you can frolic among the fields and take home some blooms with you as a souvenir.
Farm & Co, Cudgen
If you’ve never come across a photo of people posing happily in the sunflowers at Farm & Co, you mustn’t spend much time on Instagram (we’re honestly jealous). It really is the photo opportunity of choice for anyone road tripping through Northern New South Wales. You need to pay to access the sunflower field, but you’ll also be able to enjoy the rest of the farm – so it’s totally worth it.
Gold Coast Botanic Gardens
We’ve recommended the Gold Coast Botanic Gardens many a time, but that’s because they tick so. Many. Boxes. Case in point: it’s the perfect place to get a flower fix. From the rose garden to the butterfly garden, as well as beautiful native plants to see as you do the rounds.
