For a spring picnic
There’s no better way to celebrate spring than with a picnic. Grab a blanket (bonus points if it features a floral print), some plastic glassware and your speakers. For food, we suggest a cheese platter. Our go-to formula is as follows: three cheeses (two soft, one hard), at least two dips (one creamy, one spicy), a jam or chutney, cured meats, one or two brined/marinated toppings (olives, capsicum, tomatoes, anchovies), an assortment of crackers, a crunchy baguette, fresh berries, chocolate, separated into rows, sprigs of flowers or herbs for styling. Bring a card game or a puzzle and you’ve got yourself the perfect spring afternoon activity.
